Okay, in hindsight that would have been preferable story direction…

If you ain't first, you're last!
Secretary of State Unit: Criminal Intent
Wow, Katy Perry was derivative of something that came before, color me shocked.
So she's done trying to act now, right?
I'm rather fascinated by all the possible avenues they have to take with characterization of Twelve. It's a open book, yet he's not his two predecessors; the closest point of reference in writing is Christopher Eccleston. The only problem is how they'll deal with Capaldi's distinct Glasgow accent.
Honestly, Jim this season would have be such a more bearable character if someone (preferably Hallie) called him out with smug high-mindedness, in the way Sorkin used to do in spades with Josh Lyman.
I dunno who the new guy (girl?) will be, but odds are it'll be an unknown, which is alright with me. I'll miss Smith though.
This show needs a Toby Ziegler on it to tell all the characters how full of crap they are.
Between this and 'Election Night' on The West Wing, I'd say Aaron Sorkin has an alarmist fixation of Joshua Molina in the rain.
One of my friends has a theory that the writers will make Deb the killer.
But you forgot to ask him about My Boss's Daughter…
They couldn't have cast this remake better than with Vince Vaughn. That being said, this movie is gonna be awful.
Don't you mean De Niro suddenly morphed into Christopher MacDonald?
I might watch only on the basis to see how poorly Los Angeles stands in for Arizona
Yeah, I figure he'll be great this season. The general rule of thumb about this show is the better the supporting actor, the more tolerable their subplot is.
Your argument against The Newsroom is invalidated by virtue that it proves you were one of the few people who watched Studio 60.
I must say, as far as premieres go, this wasn't bad. I do rather enjoy Michael paying for his extreme hubris of the previous season. I also give Mat Nix credit for reading "The Spy Who Came In From the Cold."
But WHY, Mary Harron!?
Supposedly Wonderfalls and Hannibal exist within the same
universe. Think about that for a moment.
