If you missed the last three episodes of season 4, you missed what the consensus has deemed the best episode of that season, Basic Human Anatomy. You should at least check that one out. It's not brilliant, but I think it does a much better job at "Troy and Abed working through some emotional stuff via a game" than

It was like Modern Warfare, but sloppier.

I do think that if this is what they were doing, they should've made it just a touch more obvious.

I'm a big fan of hers, and she has a pretty distinctive voice.

Hairspray is a great movie.

I have yet to see Life During Wartime. Is it something a Happiness fan would like?

Get a room, you guys!!

They weren't. But as a ratio, 2 out of 5 is a bit high.

Yeah, the two weakest episodes this season were the high-concept ones.

There are seven season 3 episodes, and one season 5 episode (Intro to Teaching) I liked better.

I kind of half agree with you re: the Harmon bias. But I went into season 4 totally ready for it to possibly be awesome. I went into it open-minded, because I'm not a Harmon worshipper. But for the most part, they failed. Every week, I thought hopefully, "Maybe this is the week when they'll show they know what they're

Intellectually, I see what you mean. But that's now how it felt as I watched it.

I heart Gale Boetticher. Not you; the character. Bless you for naming yourself that. I haven't watched season five yet, but I hope they found a way to shoehorn a bunch of flashbacks featuring him.

I don't understand what's happening.
:(

I appreciate your measured response instead of the automatic downvote others will surely give me just because they disagree.
I liked the episode, but they could've done so much better for my boy donglover.

I believe you mean "Cooperative Polygraphy", which I liked more than you, but which didn't approach the classic level so many people bestowed on it. Intro to Teaching is easily my favourite episode this season so far.

It sounded a lot like Aimee Mann.

They Britta'd Troy's goodbye episode.

Wait til you find out who's directing it.

You had me at "whoring bed".
