I only looked through the first page of comments, but did no one else get a strong feeling that Gus and Maximilio are more than just business partners? Seemed to me that the depth of Gus's grief reflected a lover's pain.

Yeah, I was shocked to see the A- on this review. I wouldn't even go as far as you - I don't think the show's ever had a truly bad episode. But this one was frustratingly laugh-free, with very little in the way of interesting plot.
The only two episodes this season so far that earned an A- from me are Recall Vote and The Cones of Dunshire. Parks and Recreation is never really bad, but this episode belongs in my top five "worst" episodes of the show, along with last season's Two Parties and half the first season.
You're right about the premiere and this episode. In this case, it was because of the gimmick. In the premiere, I think they were going for a darker tone than usual.
That felt awfully familiar, but I haven't yet figured out where I heard it before…
EDIT: There it is!
Hallelujah. There was never a moment where I wanted them to be together. It's faintly creepy.
I thought of that too, but as roare says, it doesn't make sense for a former major character. When they did it for Starburns, it somehow felt right.
B-
That was disappointing after last week. It might just be the least successful Harmon gimmick episode. And what an awkward way to (unnecessarily) announce that Pierce is dead. But apparently the next one is brilliant, so I haven't lost faith.
In case you haven't watched the documentary yet: she is not interviewed for it. She is seen briefly in the background at a screening.
So convoluted. I really miss the straight-up top 25 (or however many it was last time).
The Sophie B. Hawkins one is one of the only episodes worthy of standing alongside the first three seasons, along with the Halloween episode and the one where Troy and Abed pretend to switch bodies.
I've never seen it spelled "NORT" before. That's perfect.
See the second half of my statement, "and it wasn't played as a joke". Those sitcoms always poke fun at the supposed attractiveness imbalance.
Nah. My other avatar is a picture of me, not my dog.
I also love She's the One, Inner Meet Me, Dr. Baker, and Monolith.
This happens to me all the time. In fact, it happened just before I wrote this reply.
Actually, it's, "Is this some kind of a bust?"
It came out six days ago:

Wow. That's one of the best jokes I've heard in a long time.
Actually, so many guest stars have been announced for season 5 that if they were all used to their full potential, there would be no room left for the regular cast.
