I actually grew up on Tangerine Dream's music. My mom considered them new-agey enough to play them all the time. It's the only reason we had the Risky Business soundtrack in our house.

Southern Harmony and Musical Companion is a great fucking album. I bought it and Faith No More's Angel Dust on the same day and went on to have one of the greatest summers of my life in 1992.
