I recently listened to their best-of collection, Hit By A Train, and I heard a ton more in the mix than before, and I was a superfan for about five years. Made me wonder if they had some remastering done.

I'll take Fight Songs over Gravity - Grand Theatre 2 any day. And I HATE "Nineteen."

You really should. As someone said above, even if the latest album isn't strong, they're a tremendously fun live band.

I'm looking at Blame It on Gravity, mostly.

I feel the same way about Wilco and Kicking Television/A Ghost Is Born.

It's alarming that I know this, but the album title is actually He's the DJ, I'm the Rapper.

You know, The State was in my wheelhouse at the time, and I have nothing but fond memories of the show, but I found it almost unwatchable when the DVD came out.

Mr. Boogerstrom?

And it's great!

I think it's a tie between "Both Sides Now" and "Send In The Clowns," which is a cover in it's own right.

How quaint it must've been when even the most disposable, prefabricated pop group created only for profit had really good songs.

I haven't waded through all ~800 comments, but I'm surprised "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" wasn't mentioned in the article.

'twas a mighty Dial MTV winner, that one. Many's the day I hurried home from the bus stop to watch it.

This. Campbell is the secret sauce.

There was a lot of that, yes.

Same here. Any bag in the wind is "just…so beautiful. It's DANCING with me!"

I still love that Dances With Wolves score by John Barry. I was tickled when it was used in United Way commercials for a while.

My mom walked out of American Beauty because it so baldly treated the lecherousness of Lester Burnham like it was a charming personality quirk and therefore No Big Deal. I tried to counter her argument by telling her that the character was redeemed because he stopped himself.

I have nothing snarky to say about this. I hope it succeeds.

Her solo hit "Got A Hold On Me" is really, really super.
