I was in a 10 year relationship that ended a three years ago. I'm in my mid 30s now and still feel adrift. I never really learned all the "rules" of dating (guys don't call right away, etc.) I genuinely have a lot to offer but in the last few years have made to feel quite the opposite.

Bright Star was amazing and so were a lot of other indies (Big Fan was mentioned in a thread above) but no one is launching big Oscar campaigns anymore, independent films least of all.

Up wasn't as tight as most Pixar but it did succeed in telling the story of a marriage in funny and touching way, without any words, in about 3 minutes. Perhaps they should invent a category, Best Short Film Inside A Feature.

I just saw In The Loop this weekend and it's very, very witty. I should get Best Adapted but I wouldn't be surprised if doesn't.
