I am genuinely amazed that 99.99999% of commercial rappers have attained their level of stardom. I am even more genuinely amazed that reviewers on this site consistently fawn over talentless dirtbags like Ross, Young Jeezy, and the rest of the their crack rap ilk(for instance, how could anyone with an IQ over 75 rate

You overstate the sound quality of vinyl by quite a large margin.  If Jeff Mills prefers vinyl for vague artsy-fartsy philosophical reasons, good for him.  He's still a great DJ and I'd imagine he'd still be great just using Midi Controllers.  But as far as trying to convince me that Vinyl is the be all end all medium

What I meant was that being a good DJ didn't require more skill, or technical prowess, when vinyl was pretty much the only game in town.  The traits that made a good DJ with vinyl (good ear for track flow and selection, mastery of phrasing needed for adroit mixing) still apply with a digital setup, and less time has

Vinyl, except for hipster fetishists, has gone the way of vaudeville for the most part.  Pauly D, and others on this list, may be inept playlist clickers, but utilizing software like Traktor or Ableton to its full potential requires a large amount of ability.  What's really important is the Dj's performance and sound

American ones sure have but there is has been some foreign gems lately…"Headhunters", "Mesrine/Public Enemy #1", and "A Prophet" to name just a few.  This doesn't even look worthy of a theatrical release however.  I wouldn't even give this the time of day on Netflix, much less pay ticket price.
