As I mentioned in WOT, this was the first Hitchcock film that just made fall head over heels for the director. So much to unpack. Like the antagonism between Uncle Charlie and the detective who becomes Charlie's boyfriend - yeah, there are obvious reasons for it on Uncle Charlie's side, but there's also something

The Spread-Eagle?

I knew I had a crush on you for a (myriad of) reason(s). Or, you know, co-signed.

So, it's not that the AV Club cannot be clickbaity. Because it can. But this … I love Tor.com, but this may take the cake:

Looking forward to the Hitch discussion. Shadow of a Doubt was probably the first Hitchcock film I fell head over heels for - made me a major fan of Teresa Wright.

That's funny, because she was just on Jimmy Kimmel last night, although about the family naming thing. I think she was on to promote the new series she's doing with Aldis Hodge on WGN.

Disney is now trying to lure Broadway sensation and Grammy winner future EGOT phenomenon Lin-Manuel Miranda

I've long been told that I am an old Jewish man in the body of a black woman.

Also, screw the company that moved heaven and earth to get my geek to an interview, only to leave him hanging in limbo for coming on 3 weeks now.

Thanks for reminding me about Nevada. Can I go drink now?

Finished my writing class. Have a completed draft (with slight revisions) of a Mardi Gras-set erotic romance short. Have an idea for a sci-fi story. But I will probably take a break for a week, since I'm DJing in Second Life in this weekend.

Excelsior!

I need to read Sunshine. I have it and I've been meaning to for years, but it was denser than I initially thought and didn't get much past the beginning.

I don't know what it says about me or Amelie, but I'm already sick of hearing about the supposedly tolerable things on this list. Not that they aren't good but … ugh. Tired of them already.

And yet, after 2.5 seasons of Spartacus, the natural cadence of the line in my head is so John Hannah.

Why not just stay away, period? Can the D possibly be worth the drama?
