That was my experience with The Last Starfighter. I still love it, don't get me wrong, but…my enthusiasm for it is tempered by that adult standards thing you said.

I love Soapdish with wild abandon. One of the tightest ensemble comedies that can be found outside of a Christopher Guest film. Always great for a rewatch.

That's what I got from this review. That said, I'm sure I will happily watch this at some point. When it comes to Sally Field, I like her. I really like her. Like have Smokey and the Bandit on DVD because of her like her.
