It was astounding.  The game even had built in comics that could have been the base for the story boards.

I managed to stick through the first half of s5.  The show gets pretty good again for the last few episodes and the finale (filmed during season 4) is great.

Perhaps, Martin has subverted expected storylines several times.  Considering the length of ASOIAF I am glad he has.  Playing out familiar arcs over 7 long books would have been painful.

Remember when the porn past of Gillian Anderson was exposed?  That turned out pretty disappointing.  Sibel Kekilli not so much.
She has done a good job so far, but she hasn't had any killer scenes that I can name.  Some of her trial stuff should give her a chance to act though.

The turkey joke made me laugh.  I love stuffing, but don't bother to cook it in a bird.

Season 7 has Felicia Day, for some that is all it takes to make it.

I could rate the seasons of Buffy, but when I rewatch the series I don't skip any of them.  I enjoyed the all, even if I though some were weaker than others.  In contrast, when re-watching ST:TNG I skip  a good part of season 1 and some of season 2. Several of the examples in the list seem to be a bit of a stretch.  I

The worst thing about 10-13 episode seasons is how they seem to be paired with irregular seasons that come more than a year apart.  Where the heck is the Venture Bros?

@avclub-a36530b2f5ac1b25d35ebdeb7106a8a5:disqus I also enjoyed the later day SG-1 stuff.  I would have even liked one more season of that show although the movies did a good job tying up the loose ends. I think  a lot of Sci-Fi/Fantasy shows were pretty good even at 100+ episodes.  ST:TNG, DS9, Angel, Buffy, Farscape,

Netflix just adedd anew seaond of ad

The daily show does 161 episodes per year.  HBO should get on it and  lengthen the GOT seasons.

@avclub-e6ec91cba600ca785d5e02beb0d0c8eb:disqus The actress is too pretty .  It might have been nice if they had found someone genially unattractive .

It took me a while too. I only picked up on that (and a ton of other stuff) on a second read-through of the series.

@idotking:disqus(BOOK spoliers) Jon already found the true Horn of Joromund.  It was buried along with the dragonglass weapons that he found.

They aged-up arya for the show.  I think it is a good decision since it allows her to take a more physical role when called for.  Kids under 10 just don't have enough muscle to do some of the things she did in the books.

Posted something similar last week, but I'll throw it out again.
The faceless men (including Jaquen) may be quality assasins but I don't think they are infallible.  If Arya had asked for someone well protected and distant, Jaquen might not have been able to kill them for years and might have been caught and killed in

Ok but I think they will need more episodes per season then.

Phshaw, it seems unlikely that this show will be renewed for a third season anyway.

@drdarke:disqus It is a well known fact, 95% of internet comment posters are men.  The only exceptions are things like the Komen Foundation's boards,

Yeah they way overplayed the nerd angle.  It felt more like a parody of nerds.
