Buck & McCarver < Buck & Aikman. At least with football Buck sounds like he's actually enjoying what he's watching. And yes, a heavily concussed Troy Aikman is actually more cogent than Tim McCarver

yeah, what took me out of this episode was the fact that in every outdoor scene it was gorgeous and sunny. They pretended like they were still in LA. It's NEVER that nice in New York during the summer.
@Zarnak - Alger Hiss
My freshman year roommate was an okay dude, a laid-back guy from Tennessee. Sexiled me a handful of times, was a bit of a night owl, but was otherwise cool.
1) Larry/Jerry. You can tell that they've been having basically the same conversation for 30 years.
Buck Henry also co-created Get Smart with Mel Brooks. Show some respect, you louts.
MLB did something (2 years ago, maybe?) that followed the Phillies relievers for a season. It was the dullest fucking thing I've ever seen.

my parents were really good about letting me and my sister watch stuff, but that was mostly because they wanted to raise us to be sarcastic wiseasses with no hope for humanity. My dad and I even got into watching Homicide together when I was 11.
bravo, just bravo
oh yes
this was my favorite episode when I was a kid - and watching it a few weeks ago, yeah, still my favorite
Columbia
phun phact about Columbia and Ghostbusters - those lawns you see in the background (behind the statue) were planted there for the movie. They had been dusty lots for a long time before that.
@Mandeliet - the reason a lot of the Weather Underground people got off is that much of the evidence against them was collected using illegal surveillance. If there are still some who are in hiding (which there may be, I'm not sure) it's probably because they were connected to crimes that have no statute of…
@Pig in Zen - supposedly it's a tradition every All-Star Game (at least, up until this year, when he didn't make it) that Ichiro ends the pre-game clubhouse meeting with a vulgar rant that cracks everybody up.
and, though it pains me to say this as a Yankees fan, I would substitute Pedroia for Cano. He's a funny little fucker, that guy
I like it - Bautista definitely knows how to tell a joke, and Ichiro is supposedly a truly hilarious guy
I also loved the scene of Bart and Ralph picking teams
such a mighty warrior …
wait, I wasn't head of the Gestapo at all!
whoops, that was supposed to go on a previous thread
