You mean "Mr. Xcitement"?

I (dis?)like how 90% of this playlist is just songs by bands whose members are personal friends of his (or at the very least, close business partners). One of the songs is even about him. It's less an apocalyptic playlist and more a "look at these famous people I have ingratiated myself with" list, with the exception

I like how Wilco has been conveniently pretending the album "Wilco (The Album)" never happened in concerts as of late. Don't think anybody has particularly noticed or cared. (Incidentally, I saw them both at Solid Sound last year and closer to home this August, and they were phenomenal on both occasions.)

I'd never heard of a real person whose name sounded so much like a P.G. Wodehouse character until I encountered Benedict Cumberbatch.

"Freak Out" is a good place to start (it's where I started), but I think  "We're Only In It For the Money" was the album that really sold me on Zappa. I think "Sheik Yerbouti" or some of the live albums might be a little off-putting for people who aren't into vulgar sex jokes though, but that's the thing with

Yeah, when I heard a film had got an NC-17 rating because of a scene involving fried chicken, I was pretty horrified about where I thought the chicken would be going instead…so reading about what actually happened in the scene was almost a relief.

Except that she can't really go toe-to-toe with him, other than to stand up to him so she can quit her job…and then sit around the house all day with her actress friends in between failed auditions. She's less doormat-like in his presence, but that doesn't necessarily translate into interesting. (Don's dated/had

I think it's less an issue of Munch outliving his usefulness and more an issue of Law & Order turning into an even more formulaic slog over the years. The plots are increasingly ludicrous, but are treated increasingly melodramatically. Yawn.

Even when Betty Draper was "important" to the plot (i.e. the first 3 seasons) I can't be the only one who was bored to tears by all her storylines. I realize that that was probably the point—at some point, a wealthy suburban housewife with a maid runs out of things to do besides drink and loaf about on the couch all
