Oh, fair, I missed the distinction. I actually really liked Schism a bunch. I haven't been a fan of the current mutant status quo since Bendis took over and it's inexplicably even more confusing post-Bendis. Cyclops is like X-Men story-telling Kryptonite, I guess.

… You do you, sweetie.

Yeah, that was a weird plot point to introduce only to drop.

I thoroughly enjoyed Messiah CompleX and Second Coming, but it all sort of went downhill from there.

Only because the image of the other actors in the Defenders having to act opposite him is cringe comedy at its best.

Hey, fair. I'm just considering every minefield the Internet has to consider.

"What was that about anyway?" pretty much applies to all aspects of that shitty event.

This.

And so beginneth many a think piece re: the actor's race.

Yay, Jussie!

Bringing back Merlyn - delightful though he is - was the worst mistake this show ever made.

Omg they were the Putty Patrol, weren't they? Yikes.

Hellcat is hilarious. Between Hellcat, Spider-Woman, and Ant-Man, Marvel's really making me crack my shit up each week. (I still miss you, She-Hulk).

"The Daredevil and Elektra movies were received with twin sighs."

I'm an Elektra apologist, but even I know that the movies never did right by the character. What I find interesting is that the movies wasted her weapons - the twin sais - while Jennifer Garner used them really well in an episode of Alias.

There's a shot of her on a roof with a horde of ninjas in the background. She looks like she's wearing a leather coat.

That seems most likely. I hope he gets at least a nod or mention this season.

Have you seen Jon Bernthal in anything else? He seemed like an obvious choice to me.

I hope Daredevil handles The Hand better than Arrow handled the League of Assassins.

Goddamn, I couldn't get further than that retched pilot.
