By badass you mean killing and displacing lots of Arabs in 1948?

Also, is not the first time that Sopranos delves into ganster rap culture is it? It provides with funny bits as Da Lux calling Tony "original G".
This is a great write-up!
Great
Who will be playing the Beatles?
You will find that they both essentially have the same theme(s). In a very loose way obviously. It is almost as if the Savage Detectives was a test for what he wanted to achieve in 2666, just the test turned out better. 2666 is great though.
Great name Difficult. I have not liked Bolaño's short novels that much. Most people that I know that are fascinated by him as I am have started with The Savage Detectives, which was a massive hit in Latin America about a decade ago.
The Savage Detectives is in my opinion a perfect novel. Its bookended by the account of that masturbating poet.
Try watching his films. He is one of the most talented directors alive.
Just saying that Ray Curto was also wearing one
I havent re-watched the episode but I am almost sure that both Eugene and Curto wear Members Only jackets in the episode. They are both members of the same 2 clubs (ie, informants and dead).
Great episode (at last!)
You should start with "The Idiots".
I agree dream sequences can be nice to watch and enjoyable because they are cinematic, like for example, the dream in Sopranos "Funhouse" in season 2 finale. That one included literal as well as more abstract symbols and operated in a way that rings true to the way dreams are. It was very clever and funny too.

I agree though it seemed to me quite obvious. Not that Ginsberg is neccesarily a survivor but sensitive to the subject due to members of his family having died in the holocaust. It kind of made me think of Anne Frank.
Not a very interesting direction to take a very promising character Im afraid.
That was one of the silliest Mad Men episodes I can remember. Credit to the quality of this show that the scenes with Sally and Pauline, and the unbearable tension between Dawn and Peggy were enough to make this episode very entertaining.
For the second week in a row the writers have decided to include dream sequences…
That's like, your opinion man.
I think "In Raibows" and "that other new one" still retain that whole album quality and are nice to hear from beggining to end. Its just their previous albums were just so much better.
At least he gets to be rich and have artistic integrity.
I actually have a friend that is a producer in that film! Not much of a friend really just a guy that I met last year, but friendly. I thought he was just another Arab with money and didnt took him seriously. Then again, The Prophet? What a joke.
Well he's bound to make serious money so the joke is on me I guess. On…
