But I don't know, I seem to have trouble grasping how Star Trek towers completely over all sci-fi in America.

Bah, there was probably only a couple of episodes with nudity over the shows run, and as far as acting and far as acting writing goes it would beat out a show like Farscape easily.

Perhaps that's part of the appeal, with so much American stuff having the same feel to it and the only alternate being Dr. Who.

Henson workshop involvement should be a plus to any one with sense. I'd think people would be less likely to criticize it from that direction these days as it is popular to praise practical effects over the lack of personality in all the cgi.

And I have heard that the second series of Farscape is great, and I am glad to hear that the first picks up as I have just started watching and the first half dozen episodes are rather mediocre so far. The first couple of Babylon 5 episodes, that I have rewatched for the first time since I saw them as a child on the

Shane is a massive asshole and what he was doing there seemed much more like he was outraged at the idea that zombies would be treated like this and so he created this big stunt which put everyone in much more danger than they were with the barn. Drumming up the fears of the group to wipe out this threat is zombie
