I think I'll be pretending that season 4 was the last one. Thematically, it's a perfect ending, the circle of violence in Dexter's life. With the exception of the few scenes where the Deb reveal was exciting, the last 4 years have been exclusively pointless.

The best moment in every Dexter episode is when my brain becomes so numb, it just starts replaying the BrBa episode in my head… so that's about 14 seconds in… this season, I think the opening credits are the most suspenseful and surprising minutes of the show.

That scene way back when, when Dex drags the bloody corpse through Miami Metro… that's actually a flash-forward, and came to be known as 'the day MM almost cottoned onto Dexter's crimes'

That was my thought too.

Congratulations to PLL for having far better writing than Dexter this week. The banter between the girls has really picked up this last season or so. There's always two or three really memorable lines, and I think the "We've all had boyfriends" one was perfect.

Because reading these is the only thing which makes the show worth watching… it's like our own MST3K

She's finally reached an intellectual level equal to that of the rest of Miami Metro, hence she's locked her keys in her car and now can't get back into the building.

"Why didn't I think of gloves" - said no one ever when planning a crime!

Isn't there a famous neurologist named Oliver Sacks? Don't tell me that the height of intelligence for the Dexter writers is stealing a joke from the ten year old "I Still Know What You Did Last Summer".
