I had no idea there was this much truth in the Simpsons' "Is this legal?" "Only here and in Mississippi" joke.

The Kirk Douglas style "I'd like to say [x] but if I did, I'd be lying" and "some kind of freak" were frequent quotes between me and my brothers.
Did Car 54 Where Are You actually beat Dick van Dyke to the rotating credit gag? They both premiered in '61, and the Car 54 1st season eps in syndication and on DVD have the varying gags along with episode specific credits, so I assume they're original.
Season 1, ep 5 - they find bugs in the crawlspace, have to have the house tented, move into a trailer in the front yard, Hal hangs out in front of it in his BVDs, I think somebody goes in with a gas mask, and Malcolm fondles fat stacks of cash.
This is weirdly timed, since I was just reminded of this sketch and his role in it yesterday when I was checking BDM's IMDB entry on account of his frequently being mentioned in Ken Plume's podcast with Joe Flaherty on account of their Second City days.
If they wanted to do a garbage woman April series, I would be embarrassingly ok with that.
So that's where it went! @avclub-22eda830d1051274a2581d6466c06e6c:disqus - Can you get in touch with her for me? I'd appreciate its return, since the space over my sofa seems so barren without it.
I tend to glaze over when he comes on screen. A character that obnoxious shouldn't be so one-note to boot.
@LetoII:disqus - It's the European version - http://www.imdb.com/title/t…
No, that would be Brazil. Especially the Father Christmas cut, of course.
He doesn't need to work blue. He's got talent. A Ben Vereen quality.
I was getting the Lou Reed feel from the vocals.
Anybody else get a little Lou Reed vibe from the closing credits version?
Which raised the question: if they're bringing back every guest star for the finale, will it be filmed in Seinfeldvision?
But standing next to Andy Kindler, he looks pretty big https://twitter.com/AndyKin…
And the follow up to Bob's New Heart, where the title character travels back in time to treat medieval German mayors - Bob's Burghers.
Speaking of Fish, Antenna TV just aired a 2nd season ep of Barney Miller called, appropriately enough, Fish, that took place largely at his home and reeked of back door pilot. But it was from like two years before his show actually premiered, and from my vague recollection of that show, wasn't that similar.
Dwight's siblings died on the way back to their home planet.
Every season but 4 is on streaming. It's not letting me check discs right now, but the last time I looked, they didn't have the season set, so any of the hour long eps they had were sprinkled one a piece across best of discs.
Is there a legal way to stream all of season 4? It's not the sort of thing I expect to watch more than once, so I don't really want to buy the DVD set. But I'm enough of a completest that I've put watching the whole series aside until I know I'll be able to see them all.
