Ugh. And I hate Childish Gambino. Worst news ever.

"MY THIGHS ARE AN EPIDEMIC AND THEY'RE TAKING OVER THE WORLD!"
Oh my god. I never thought about that. A plane killed his dad, a boat killed his mom, he met and lost the love of his life because of his train commute, he lost Chevy because he can't drive.
Oh fuck off. People who think humans are meant to be monogamous are nutso. So what? Peggy fell in love with a guy similar to her. And he fell in love with her. SHIT HAPPENS. What is she supposed to be, a robot?
Mary, Mary, quite the contrary!
This felt like when the Scoobies de-throned Buffy. Don (and Buffy) deserves this. But I don't think it means he can't come back and kick ass after semi-fixing all of the messes he's made.
Unless your Alex. Then you get away with helping your friends drive a kid to paralyze another kid and kill himself, and nobody ever says anything.
I loved when Degrassi was overtly Canadian when they dealt with issues. I assume people in Canada play eucre instead of poker, but that may just be because of Degrassi.
To be fair, LAKEHURST burnt down in the revival. And for some reason never re-opened. I think it's hilarious that they expect us to believe that small community middle school from season one is now housing grades 7 through 12 of the Degrassi and Lakehurst kids.
Unless you are dark black (Chante, Marisol, Danny, Damien, Hazel) or asian (Leia, Zane, Kendra). Then nothing happens to you until you eventually disappear.
Clare and Eli act like they waited 30 years, but if you look at Degrassi's insane timeline they've only dated like a total of 5 months.
I have never given up, but I've wanted to so many times. I just have to tell myself it is what is. It's high school. The point of the show is to help kids going through the horrible miasma of social issues and other pamphlet-having things you deal with in high school see other kids dealing with similar problems, and…
I would love regular coverage, but classic coverage would also be great. I'm sure there are more Degrassi fans on The AV Club who jumped ship many seasons ago.
OH MY GOD PILOT REVIEWED DEGRASSI BEST DAY EVER. Now if Todd VanDerwerff would give me a chance with my zero experience I could review the fuck out of classic Degrassi: The Next Generation. I have so much to say about "Don't Believe The Hype". I mean, that was Hazel's like only episode, and it was a great fucking…
I guess they lost the last couple of episode reviews in some website maintenance. :(
This is my favorite episode for so many reasons. It reminds me of when My So-Called Life showed us Rayanne's home life.
My reaction was "this show's a little dark…"
@eric827:disqus Spike tried to rape Buffy, and everyone still jacks it to him in "Fool for Love" once a week (EXCEPT ME. BANGEL 4 LYFE!).
@avclub-4e17f2a258effb8ae350f8a8062d9a4c:disqus C'mon now, despicable? When he's being wicked you can tell he's only doing it, because he thinks it's what you're supposed to do. He's one of the few characters who actually gives a shit about the civil rights movement. He just wants to be Mr. Cool.
Lol quit doubling down, @avclub-de9878e9d33c60263a094abc94fab3f0:disqus . You sound like a conservative politician.
