Community used to be very sparing and good with the meta stuff. It was never too simple or easy like Family Guy ALWAYS gets (referring openly to how shitty your show is doesn't make it ironically good, Seth MacFarlane), or like 30 Rock occasionally got (though it could handle it). Community has always had some great

Thank Glob for Megan Ganz.

I fucking loved this episode. Jon Favreau brought a new flavor. It seemed so much more natural. It was strange.

What about when Louie had an unrequited crush on Bobby Hill for a whole season?

@g2:twitter The point is it shouldn't even really be a part of the conversation. Hey, we didn't think the Pope would quit, but he did! Sometimes guys you think are out of a girl's league date that girl. I don't think it detracts from the realism of the show at all. I think it would be way more unrealistic had he

Whoa @avclub-fe667cc638187e2a2ed9661c0b94f457:disqus's witty reply to @g2:twitter was waaaaay more hilarious than mine.

I think it could be Gabe as well. However, I'm not sure they'll actually do that, because it would make syndicated episodes so weird, right? I dunno I guess probably not as weird as I assume it would be.

@avclub-29501df08e5d9ae59e432e4f188d3735:disqus I don't think so… I've seen tons of episodes and I don't think they draw much attention to it. Larry David did the same thing on Curb this last season.

@avclub-7aee1b75b527e215f31e20a5c4e7a768:disqus Does it have to be a statement? Remember what Tina Fey said when she won the Mark Twain award.

I think the idea that Lena Dunham is an exhibitionist is ridiculous. The thing that makes it seem misogynistic is that it's not really criticism any other show would feature. If you're arguing that she is putting herself with hot men as a masturbatory fantasy that's wrong for so many reasons and, yes, misogynistic.

What would we do if we didn't have @g2:twitter to tell us how women think?

@g2:twitter Yes. The pharmacist she went to high school with who still lived with his parents and had long, thin, teen-looking hair was out of her league.

Have you seen Jerry Seinfeld's face? It looks like a damn horse. Have you seen Jason Alexander? He looks like a troll Larry David. Did you ever see the women they dated on a weekly basis on that show? Did you have a problem with that? That's what I thought.

@avclub-f8523a7e392b7ab306239f511fd75280:disqus  Your assumption seems to be that this show is completely constructed so that Lena Dunham can fake-fuck hot men on television. That seems a bit misogynistic, dude. Completely ignoring the plot, the character study, and the beautiful direction of tonight's episode. To you

I don't think the point of it in the first place was to say "FUCK YOU" to the establishment. It's literally just part of the show. It's a show about sex. A show about intimate moments. A show about vulnerability and vices. There's going to be nudity. Lena is the main character. It's HBO. I think it's a bit sexist to

It would be funny if people were as outraged about the incest sex on Game of Thrones as they are about having to see Lena Dunham's boobs on Girls.

Holy shit. It's like you people have never even seen a fucking show on HBO.

I love it when you can tell they have barely even seen the show.

Why does it matter? It's HBO. It's a show about sex and intimacy. There's bound to be nudity. This show deals with some of the most intimate moments. The nudity helps put that in context. It is just part of the show. If you don't like it go cut up some construction paper and tape it to your screen.
