Oh god no. I love Fred Willard. They should Charlie Sheen/Ashton Kutcher it though. I would prefer that more. They could even throw in a few more character replacement meta-jokes.

This feels like one of those situations where everyone was going to overreact no matter what, because of how involved Harmon was with the show. Some shows have gone on to do some of their most decent stuff after the showrunner left. So, that's a possibility.
