AKA. Bobby Bottlerservice.

It's directed by Jonathan Krisel (of Tim & Eric and Portlandia). He's a bit of an auteur with his weird sound effects and obsession with fucking weird shit.

Haha the twins never showed up in TNG. I think Wheels, Joey, Snake, Spike, Spike's best friend Whatever, Liz, Caitlin, and a few others were the only ones to actually show up in TNG. I wanted to see Bitter, Bitter Kathleen Meade show up…

Ew. No.

@inko8:disqus The Might B was mighty good, but F&C has a bit of feminism in there. Think about marketing to li'l girls and how it's all about being a princess, getting pretty, having a baby, and finding a man. That episode ended with a great monologue by Fionna in which she stated — in so many words — she was a

I think I was just thrown off by the statement you made about how you were done with the show if this were an indication of its future. I just don't think it is the indication of the future.

@avclub-ce7da3812ed2a993e2194cd75e94b18b:disqus But you never suggested otherwise… otherwise! Anyway, good write-up. I liked your analysis much more than David Sims (I just can't stand his wild generalizations and writing style). I know you get a lot of hate thrown your way, but you're a great reviewer. GOOD WORK.

I just recently started Enlightened and I have to say it's really, really great. I love Girls too, and I think they are perfectly paired together. I like how they're both only 30 minutes, but both deal so well with these characters trying so hard to be earnest and get some happiness out of life.

That's speculation. Maybe NBC didn't jump on it, because they realized smart single-camera shows haven't gotten them very far. See, my speculation works too!

I enjoyed Maggie a ton more than the other two. If you read Mindy's book she describes her three real life best friends, and they are literally just the characters on the show that she's best friends with. The Anna Camp one is the one who she did Ben & Matt with which launched her career. I like this new one, because

"Instead, the show is just extending Mindy’s vague dating impulse onto
Danny, with Allison Williams' Eyepatch earning back her first
name—Jillian—and then breaking up with him. I like Williams a lot, and
will gladly allow for any storyline involving a sea lion and a penguin,
but Danny’s characterization felt all over

I posted that too. I think the thing that makes Degrassi perfect for this list is how the characters' intros change with their status in life. Ashley and Craig are together in the opening during the season they date; after Spinner inadvertently gets Jimmy shot it shows him sadly watch as Craig and Jimmy have fun in a

Oh my god I just watched that whole video and that intro has changed so
many times. I didn't even realize that the season with Jamie Johnston
(Peter) where he was barely in any episodes was just an excuse for him
to pass the torch to Sav in the opening credits.

I dig it. It's something that I wish EVERY cartoon would do. It's just pure, unadulterated fun, and it gives little girls a chance to actually idolize Finn and Jake by idolizing Fionna and Cake. The first episode was also a brilliant piece of feminism that I think every little girl should see. This one worries me a

@Scurvyhead:disqus Marceline is a half demon. She didn't get vampire'd until she was about 18. The scenes with her as a child show you that she has no bite marks on her neck yet. The Lich promises Finn eternal life in "The Lich".

My double bad! I thought he was newish too!

Air Conditioner Water-melon!

We do love to complain here at The AV Club.

It'll probably suck (I mean there's like an 80% chance it'll suck, right?), so… feel bad!
