I'll be there though; smiling politely.

Why do you think they had it that weekend?

Yeah, they're the one band where the guy, no matter what he's singing, sounds like he's going, "NEE-NER, NEE-NER, NEE-NER…"

This bathroom smells like shit!

Seconded, MC.
Hey, you know what I'm doing for work tonight? I'm gonna be watching Menomena and TV On The Radio. Then I will put all their shit back in their horse trailer, and they will leave.

Will there be people acting out the videos? Like Steve Perry's existential crisis from "Faithfully" vis a vis whether or not to shave his stache? Or from the same video, Steve Smith drumming amusingly (on the arm of a couch!) while Neal Schon looks on appreciatively, and laughs, to demonstrate how "We all need

It passed through this vale of tears like a shot in the dark!

'Life's Rich Pageant' was indeed a blast of fresh air. "The Only Band That Mutters" suddenly became the band that wanted to be heard and understood, possibly because they were going for that Voice of Their Generation thing. To this day, that one's second only to 'Reckoning' for me.

See, now this is all very interesting: I just thought it was a completely scripted thing that character would do. Huh.

I don't remember a fucking thing about Hum. But Cake: now there's an example of what Soul Coughing would have sounded like if they'd been entertaining.

I think we've all learned a lot here.

Another thing that's way on-the-nose (but that's why it works) is the moment where C.J. finally loses it while talking to Nancy. Especially how she sort of thinks Nancy will automatically agree with her (black people, you know). And how very real it is when finally, she is no longer able to even be coherent
