How many feathers does a Purdue chicken have?

Anyone else note that "No Country For Old Men" was basically "Raising Arizona" without the laugh track?

To say that Bill Cobb's character in "Hudsucker" is offensive due to its Magical Negro-ness is like getting all pissed off about how Sam Elliot's character in "Lebowski" is an unrealistic portrayal of cowboys.

Why, "Eclipse," by Pink Floyd
Of course.

Wait- why'd they move it to ten?

Say…You fellas haven't been drinkin', have ya'?

Someone somewhere? A new avatar name has become available: The Dratch!

And the inevitable porn adaptation -"The Little Mermaid: Torn Anus"- is just too much to consider.

Ee-yup!

"There's only one thing I hate more than racism. Spics."
And we'll see if the bad word catcher lets that particular Jerri Blank-ism through.

"Cat and squid game." I'm going to start using that.
It's reminiscent of the Monarch's, "A deadly game of cat and also-cat!"

The consensus around my house was Sara Silverman mixed with Olivia Munn, more concentrated toward Munn. I'm not sure if she's funnier in stand-up or something, but there's a prime example of someone we all got told we should like 'cuz she's Hawt n' Funnayyy.

Agreed on Chuck Palahniuk. He's kind of a one-trick pony.
That said, his essay collection is must-read for any Portlander. He even felt the need to publish my friend's scone recipe.

Rrr. "How seriously (they) appear to take themselves."

Well, I did say "appear to view themselves," not "what they are."

I've spent just enough time making fun of these people
…and reading their blogs that mostly what I came away with was a picture of a lot of people that actually bought the hype about themselves. All those brave-sounding things said at college graduations that most of us know to be bullshit and don't take seriously?

Definitions differ widely on this one. I've heard it said that one could be born in 1975 and still be a Millenial. I think this is garbage, but what do I know? I was born in 1970, and am a member of an entirely different generation!

Sounds like someone's got some perfectly valid things to be proportionately outraged by.

Most of the movie is pointless. The parodies of MTV on the other hand: priceless.

I'm a Tommy Thayer person!
