I feel like this only really decides on a tone near the end, when the Tick really takes hold of the narrative, with some awkward shifts between clear dark comedy (like the bloody handprint on Dot's uniform or the Terror chugging the ice cream) and bits where it just feels vaguely serious (it's almost as if Wally

That first close-up of Stewart is legitimately gasp-worthy. I'm so glad Storaro and Allen are working together on another movie, because this one was the best-looking Allen film since the Gordon Willis days.

Do you now believe in God as a result of Vittorio Storaro's cinematography in that film?

I will not take that (possibly nonexistent) diss directed at Wowee Zowee sitting down!

I've also been doing the same (gotta get that Criterion money somehow), and I've been selling the CDs to assorted used-media stores and generally getting good prices for them.

@hoodedjustice:disqus already got to Schizopolis, so I'll say Everyone Says I Love You, which is in my top five for all of Allen's work.

Honestly, more concerning than that is him citing Regarding Henry as one of the influences on his Winnie the Pooh script, which ???????????? (unless he means that Bill Nunn is going to be in it, in which case awesome).

Gotta save something for the sequel.
