She did, and so did Todd.

I honestly kind of hope next season is back to 13. I think having 18, while good for potential future syndication, caused the front half of this season to drag.

I Think Ur A Hydra

I actually liked the previous ep a lot more. I also find it kinda cool how long this lawsuit arc has been going. Since like episode 13?

I like this show and The Grinder because they actually utilize their premises properly, unlike The Last Man on Earth. They are also reliably entertaining now. It's a bummer one or both will most likely be shot dead.

WHOA, I just looked it up and it's true?!?! I thought they were just poking fun at him for being rich.

Grand Dad?

I heard that this script originally had the dude at the end just be the goddamn father, but then they changed it back to the twist from the HIMYM pilot. Which is why the ending of this script is so lame.

Also, it's worth pointing out that they really DID film this front of a live audience. The fact that they pause for laughter should've made this obvious - how can you accurately do that with a completely fake audience?

This is the best episode.

does the "turkey baster" thing from movies not actually work

Everyone is dismissing this show because of the laugh track / live audience but it's actually pretty decent, the dramatic elements especially.

I don't think so. I was excited for it given the presence of Heather Anne Campbell on the writing team and the inclusion of Nicole Byer.

Three weeks for the next episode?!?! We just waited, like, 12…

It was Chartres, Melissa's last name, which is pronounced "shart".

Heather Anne Campbell being on the writing team made me think this was gonna be a good show, but it really wasn't. None of the bits were particularly funny or memorable.

Lies! The first episode is great!

why half the scenes in this show gotta be tinted one color

If only the pilot was produced, and they picked up the series based on that, and assuming the reason they pulled the plug was the quality of the scripts coming in, couldn't they just have them re-do the scripts?

I'm glad he's making a second show. WTF ever happened to the Malcolm in the Middle guy?
