I really hope that if CBS tries to order another one, Segel and Harris drop out so 8 has to be the last one. There's simply not enough story left - too much of the endgame has been put into place. "The Final Page, Part 2" was one of my favorite episodes in years but that doesn't mean I think the show should go against

yeah, 'the robin' was a bit too spoilery. if i had my way 723, 724, and 811 would keep their original titles but 812 would be 'the final page'.

Just stopping by to say I still think this is the best episode of the whole thing.

I don't know if he was ever actually supposed to be a regular but he was in the pilot, before disappearing immediately afterward with the explanation that he joined a cult. He returned with said cult in a later season 1 episode and then later appeared for a brief moment in the s1 finale but that's it.

I don't usually laugh so hard at meta jokes but Mike's line in the opening slayed me.

Funniest episode since season 7. Not saying too much but it's a good sign.

First episode since '21st Birthday' to give me that "holy shit this show is good at heart" feeling.(though I can see why they'd want to avoid going for those endings too often) And this show is still hilarious, excellent and undeserving of its likely cancellation.
