Season 1 of this show is good. The first 13 episodes are my favorite, which I guess some might consider odd for a sitcom. (I also feel this way about Arrested Development, though that show never got a chance to go on for too long)

HIMYM's current season surprises me because I thought season 7 was actually better than seasons 5 and 6, so I was expecting season 8 to be at least better than those two, when in fact it looks like it's going to be the laziest season so far.
