One time when I was about 3 years old I stuck my head between our sofa and its back cushion in our living room (can't remember why) and saw what appeared to be a portal to our grandma's living room. We upgraded sofas before I was old enough to consider that I was probably seeing something else.

Speaking of old Nickelodeon shows that are pretty damn funny even by non-kid standards, the first season of Spongebob SquarePants is probably my favorite non-Simpsons cartoon season ever. Really all the episodes from before the movie (seasons 1-3) are pretty good, but I think the first is the best.

I want to say season 4 was better than 1 but season 1 had "Rock Show" and I didn't like any season 4 episode more than that one
