I wanted a crossover of "Gilligan's Island" and "Crime Story" (the TV show from the 1980s), since "Crime Story" was set in the 1960's and ended with a plane with a plane going down. They'd crash near the island, and Torello would end up with Mary Ann while Ray Luca ended up with Ginger.

It's not all roses; my pop has lung cancer, and my siblings and I exchange texts about Mom's capabilities (my brother, who lives with her and youngest sister who lives nearby, keep our other and me posted). My aforementioned brother, just two years older than I, has a spate of health issues, too.

A lot of the week revolved around our old dog's ear surgery, which meant keeping a Vincent Van Gogh bandage around his head - Osiris has been doing the bandaging. When the revolution comes, he can be a dog medic.
