"Then leave this city!"
"Then leave this city!"
Am I the only person who can't get the freaking theme song out of my head?
MAIL ROBOT SIGHTING: Mail Robot lives! In the federal agency I work for, there are at least 4 robots rolling through the building, delivering the mail, all day, every day, since… sometime in 1976 or whenever these things were built. Seriously, they're ancient. I don't even know how they manage to continue to…
I also see your point, but if you think about it, this show's representation of heterosexual relationships isn't really that great either: you have Oliver's mom and dad, who appear to have had a terrible marriage, Oliver cheating on Laurel which led to the current situation, Moira cheating on her husband with Malcolm…
You better go write that fanfic now or GTFO, MR!
It's funny 'cuz it's TRUE!!
No that part where the baby kicked was real. I've had two babies that I'm at least 83% sure are human, and freaky shit like that happens all the time when you're pregnant. Haven't you ever seen one of those photos where the baby's footprint shows through the mom's belly? Yes, I signed in specifically to make this…
Seriously, as a mother to a 19 month old, my only reaction to this is "WTF is this lady thinking?" That's before we get to the part where she named her poor baby JAXSON.
ZOMG THE PURGE IS REAL AND IT'S HAPPENING RIGHT NOW!!!!!
Ok. I choose to believe this, until the universe forces me to believe otherwise.
Who else thinks Bob Benson may be gay? He and Joan seem super platonic and were just chatting like old friends. I didn't sense any romantic chemistry at all.
Another counterpoint: Joan has a TERRIBLE eye for people, and judgment. She slept with Roger for who-knows-how-many-years and then she married Greg AFTER HE RAPED HER. And Greg was a douchebag even without being a rapist.
THOSE MOSQUITO BITES WERE FAKE!!
I feel like all of the clones share some common behaviors, maybe showing that you can't escape your genetics sometimes, no matter who you are. I don't know if the show is purposely doing this or just needs the characters to behave a certain way for dramatic purposes. For example, all the clones show dangerously…
Me too.
I'm sorry, but The Cat Returns is freaking awesome, high or no high. Pom Poko… I'll have to agree with you.
I think Megan and I need to have a little heart-to-heart. The poor, deluded little thing.
I'M THIN.
I'M BLONDE.
I also think Nikita is worthy of AVClub reviews! There's basically nothing else on Friday, it's a rare CW show where most of the actors are actually superior to the material they're given to work with but they go ALL IN nonetheless, and even when it's bad and convoluted, it's AWESOMELY bad and convoluted.
I really liked evil, emo-free Owen. I don't know why, but I sort of like the theme this season that some sobs are just not redeemable. I'm sure he's going to be "saved" next season by the writers because everything on this show has to be tied with a neat little bow, but I'm still hoping he goes down as Sam.
