I think I'm at the point where I'll just enjoy the first two seasons, still quietly lamenting the dreadful performance of Andrew Young, and ease on down the road.

Just going by what I've read. I'll never hear any of it, myself.
Definitely a lot of crap. My point being was in 1977, it's not like stuff like Television, Bowie's "Low" or Iggy Pop was being played on the radio, either. Time determines an album's "importance", it's rarely in the moment.
Me, too. I thought the good performances helped overshadow a film that, at times, felt like a tv movie (which is more the fact that Jay Roach is a very uninteresting director). Goodman was also great.
Reviews I've read are not encouraging, unless you like the "Ratitude" kind of thing.
As was mentioned last time, definitely appreciate and enjoy this new feature.
I've already been looking forward to the Bleached and Tacocat records, both are really joyous ramalama bands that are right up my alley. Parquet Courts I still like, although I'm feeling diminishing returns. There's also this Mike & the…
Sure. I think the main problem is they don't really write too many meaty leading man parts for guys in their 50s. It's either gonna be a cop or a general or something. I'm guessing studios just don't see much money in him, otherwise. Which has been the case for most of the actors coming off these 'prestige' dramas.…
I had a friend who was vegetarian for a few years, and ate a piece of ham, or something, and claimed it made him feel really sick. I didn't know if it was a real issue, or more psychosomatic. I'd been a vegetarian for about 5 years at one point, but when I went back to eating meat (because I missed hamburgers, among…
There you go. I was just looking at the NME Best of '97 list; I knew there'd be a bunch I couldn't remember.
We shant, I fear, be making love at midnight.
Yep. But, like everybody, you gotta do a lot of crap so you get to do the stuff you want to do.
Add some string cheese as a side order, and that'd cost you $75 at one of Chicago's finest restaraunts.
The movie was better than I expected, and he was good in it. He's a good character actor who had a career-making role on a tv show. I figure he's just grateful to be getting a lot of film roles, considering up until a few years ago, he was at best gonna play some minor role in an Al Pacino movie or something.
I think we all saw that coming, unfortunately
He chewed up a lot of scenery, I'll give him that. But, again, it was a Godzilla movie.
Anyway, he was good in "Trumbo". He's a character actor who got a great tv part. I'd guess he's thrilled to be in movies at all.
Sure. I need to get the official word on when getting nominated for Oscars is meaningless, and when it's the greatest affront to civilization when someone isn't. Calibrate my outrage.
He was just nominated for Best Actor like, last month.
Kinda feel like that Godzilla movie should get some credit for that decline.
That sounds like a 70s Jean-Paul Belmondo film.
Isn't "Shawshank Redemption" ranked as the greatest achievement in cinematic history?
