The old Doctor Who episodes can be a liiiitle slow for my taste, but I watched a Hartnell, Troughton, Pertwee, Baker, and Davison serial.  The only doctor I wasn't really a fan of was Hartnell, but that might be because I watched the first episode for him and looked up what the best serials for the other doctors were.

That episode has the distinction of being the best Moffat scripted episode of the past two seasons though.  No small feat.

I find it interesting that there are people who love both Entourage and Community.

oh right the ratings, I should have checked those.  What tired 40 year-olds leave on their tv after work clearly indicates quality.

One way you could do it is switch off writers every season.  It's not like sci-fi showrunners keep a steady work schedule as it is.

I like the idea of a scifi anthology but Joss's strength is in characters, which better suits him to long running character arcs.

Is this show worth watching?  It sounds so interesting as a piece of trash, but I think it'd upset me because I'd want it to turn good… There's a good horror show waiting to be made by someone somewhere

Tim Minear needs to make his own show.  And have it last for more than an episode.
