I confess, I laughed out loud at the ME presentation of a balloon presentation of the small intestine. Perfect medical examiner humor.

Judging from the past two episodes, I see that Woody has been inserted into the mix to totally desecrate the role of the medical examiner in the normal crime procedural. I like it, as long as it's in small doses.
What about that "sixteen year-old" who married the creepy guy from The Green Mile?
I'd add "I Would For You" from the first live album (pre-"Shocking").
Yeah, I VCR'd this back when it was reasonable to think JA couldn't miss. Self-indulgent is right. I think that was right before Perry went to rehab. The duet with Ice-T was interesting, I guess.
I can maybe buy this angle. Under normal circumstances, kisses between TV characters usually come a) at the jump the shark wedding episode, or b) as a prelude to intercoursing.
"Foreman as House's boss" - maybe that (and the threat of going back to the pokey) will be a serviceable foible against House's attempts at violating protocol.
The pace was a little slow for the first half hour, but we got what we were waiting for at the end. I anticipate more action and less exposition in the next episodes. I have faith that attention to detail was for a purpose later on.
The writing was a little stronger than it was at the beginning of last season. A stronger plot and more meaningful story developments.
I was thinking the same thing. After what the characters knew, going in with skin exposed and tactile contact maximized, why not put on the same suits the team did when they entered the autopsy room?
I paid a little more attention to the amber credits, and noticed something called "psychic surgery". I kind of thought that a few years from now, there would be some local nerd-rock groups calling themselves by that name, just as a random pop culture reference.
Damn, I was going to make a riff about Prince Fielder and the "Pass the Lucky Gravy" commercial he was in with his dad some years back but a) I can't find video, and b) apparently Prince and Cecil aren't on good terms.
The execution of the bigger story arc (Walter's loss of his son) kind of collapsed on itself. The actor playing the kid was fine, as was Noble (as always), but as Walter was making his plea to the kid during the big moment, I wasn't sure if I was supposed to read this as a plea for the kid to let go like Walter had…
Debbie Gibson is pregnant

It's a big foot baby
All covered in fur now
Stark ravin' naked

Yeah, there was a lot skipped between the final scene of last season (where he's on the beach) and the start of tonight's episodes. I assume this will be filled in later(?) At least I hope so.
It was a roster-clearing move. Another staffer agreed to take on four of Zack's "other shows" to be named later if he acquired the rights to "House".
I agree that the writers are in a corner regarding this character. Gregory House has reached the Stabler Zone, where a character (Christopher Meloni's character on L&O:SVU) doesn't have any more nuances to explore, where the only choices are to kill or retire the character.
I like his reviews, but the sporadic nature of them led me to believe that among the writing assignments he has for the week, Simpsons Classic is the one he will do if he has time, but it's not high priority.
That's true. It didn't look like MacFarlane was interested in participating in the "Hurricane" theme in the animation block. Instead, we get a referendum on the character developments on the show. Not really interesting at all. I kept comparing Meg's rants to Quagmire's awesome takedown of Brian a few seasons back.
The first ten minutes were painful. Stating out loud the obvious flaws to a plan (e.g., "special thanks to the unverified voice on the phone", or whatever the quote was) is no longer a valid joke.
