During the 70s and into the mid-80s, TBS ran Georgia Championship Wrestling on Saturday afternoons (later changed to World Championshp Wrestling), where they did wresting in the studio and showed highlights of some matches at the Omni in Atlanta. It carried a lot of wrestlers from the National Wrestling Alliance (and

I knew the punch line about the yellow light, but the application part is funny as well. "Earth weight" made me laugh out loud.

I liked it until it became Law and Order: The White Rich Guy Did It.

Elias has lost some hairline, but they really do look similar otherwise.

I don't think there's any more sexual tension between Benson and Stabler. They're close, but like Wonder Twin Powers! close, not Ross-Rachel close. A few years back, Stabler went through a separation with his wife where some of this was brought up and put to bed (so to say).

Jesus' middle name is not "Fucking", God Dammit.

I'm flummoxed…

The criticism is understandable, but…
"Look, I liked this series a lot, even though I rarely felt it lived up to its potential, so I'm not going to spend much time going over the parts of "Mike Royko's Revenge" that didn't work for me. "

All about the trailer, apparently.
"Did we gain anything from all the "start three days later, then jump back in time" nonsense? I don't think we did. And I think the ending would've been more entertaining if we hadn't been prepared for it."

I'm left both entertained and educated
This is an interesting insight into the process of getting a show on a major network.

This week in painful bodily insertion theatre….
That first half hour was as excruciating to watch as anything I can remember. I priced in that we were going to see House poke inside his leg muscle. I could have done without the additional finger poking in the PoTW's liver area and the countless needle shots.

Funny and disturbing joke from Sunday night.
"Mother, it's my birthday, not our anniversary."

"What desert?"

Interesting place-marker title. I liked it.
*but I've seen the "We demand action! We won't be ignored"-type characters quite often on TV, too. They're hackneyed*

@mer and larch

Nice pickup on the white-black costuming of the Walters. I was wondering why Walter's hair wasn't aged that much.

*a few lines of Carmen*

Zerosties?
The episode drew a fine line between suspense and mere confusion, but some dialogueless moments were directed really well. The scene where the terrorist listens to a few Carmen longingly before destroying the place. Peter's eulogy. Walter/Walternate's facial expressions.

In the fall of '87, the first single from Hysteria was "Women", which didn't do very well. By December off that year, "Pour Some Sugar On Me" was in the regular rotation on MTV, and the record sales were in full ascent.

I liked it. So sue me.
This actually integrated the Liam subplot to the rest of the story and, most significantly, we see Gibbons cracking at the seams. After a season where he's been at a bucolic soothing mood above it all, it was nice to see that he was actually a vilain in this series.
