But what would the peripheral vision product placement sponsors think of that?

Any time I see a joke or musical number going way too long on FG, I have come to assume it's because of time issues, as opposed to thinking it is a creative decision. Not that it makes the execution any better, but it helps having a guess why it's being done.

I enjoyed the episode, but I got distracted trying to read the specials on the chalkboard. "Totally radish burger - comes with radish". "Mo-jicama burger - comes with jicama". "Onions grilled….with murder".

The "Black or White" video premiered on Fox after the Simpsons episode "Saturdays of Thunder", a couple of months after this episode (and on some other channels as well at the same time). There was this, then the Super Bowl performance a little over a year later, and then the allegations that changed everything we

The song itself…
"Happy Birthday, Lisa" — yea or nay?

The line where Derek says "And the girls miss you" is kind of cheating. Sort of a deux ex machina that instantly and quickly made clear to the widow that the image wasn't her Derek.

Oh Noel, I have to disagree.
I thought this is one hell of an episode.

Don't be so hasty…
"There's no house and no numeral, giving the chilling implication that the series will no longer be restrained by space, and can potentially spin off into infinity, adding momma after momma with each new entry. Only the subtitle will change: Big Mommas: The Search For Big Momma's Gold, Big Mommas:

"Community sucks."

Damn, I need to pay more attention
First there's yet another obscure reference for the geeks with the Old Dan grave (last week, I knew of the "he can't stop his leg" routine and missed the Rabbit Kline reference), and as I write this, I'm watching last week's rerun that includes a William Burroughs reference.

Good actress or not, is there a vital reason to the plot Liam Neeson's character is wedded to a woman over 25 years his younger and movie-star good-looking?

Garafolo cleans up pretty well in the five minutes I stuck around to watch this, but all of that crazy in the past few years just put me off from watching this once I saw she was on the show. Well, that and the tired, old plot line of "white victim gets all of the attention/black victims get ignored". It's a lazy

"Martha was her usual bag of doe-eyed tics and tremors"
The anime programming must have some glitches. Cute girl and competent actress, but why are they making her do all of that?

I don't have time to look up all of those names listed, but I'm guessing that the charges against them were misdemeanor assaults or less. Chris Brown was charged with felony assault, and judging by the pictures, I doubt any of the others' physical attacks came close to that level.

Oh, for fuck's sake, early commenters…
I can acknowledge that some of you don't realize that there are good comics that don't play the "angry urban type", but please expand your horizons a little bit.

I'm not getting the joke here.
Yes, Knight Crawler With a K played music from a different time. One bit was from an apparent ballad, another from an attempt at inner city social consciousness (from the wrong genre of music).

Thing is, that's not even close to the most disturbing chocolate people commercial to come along. This Axe body spray commercial from a couple of years ago — yeesh!

If you weren't going to bring up the hair issue,
I certainly was.

Re: the TV (in the show, not the opening). I was noticing the old crooked pre-digital rabbit ears antenna. I guess they're not ever going to change that?
