Albums? What are those?
OK, I'll assume "albums" means something more than the circular-like black disc. I once heard about a black circular disc that spoke humorous words like "Mom always liked you best!" when prodded by the magic needle. But childhood memories aren't always reliable.

Nothing for All
Don't know if not being a stand-alone CD makes it a disqualifier for the inventory, but the "Nothing for All" disc of the Replacements' "All For Nothing/Nothing For All" double CD is a pretty solid B-sides compilation (All for Nothing being a post-Twin/Tone greatest hits compilation, which leaves out

I read "Atlas Shrugged". Twice.

"Time's Up" (the follow-up to "Vivid") had a few good songs in the middle of a noisy mess. I understand that not everything has to sound like "Cult of Personality", but the funk and rock fusion didn't gel as well as before.

Yes I do remember, Anonymous, I was there when Caesar bled, and I love that song by Too Much Joy.

The Last Seduction
Linda Fiorentino played the role of a lifetime in "The Lsst Seduction". Black Widow extradoinnaire.

Edit: well, not introduced so much, but enhanced with the winter finale.

I may be a fool for believing the previews, but it looks as if the April episodes are going to go heavy on the longer story arcs introduced by tonight's episode. Your wish may be granted (and mine too).

Well, that removed the need for me to start my own thread on this. I agree - the vein of humor is the same. I like Demetri Martin and Steven Wright equally well.

Solid, but not epic
I liked the callback to the drug dealer whose apartment Weston did his first damage in the series. The r-word vengeance storyline is a little trite (and unfortunately timely, thanks to some un-choice words from our president's chief of staff), but I liked the small bit where Dougie made a smart

There' a risk to that. In the few episodes of "Flashforward" we got to see when the leaves were still turning, April 30, 2010 was a big deal. I doubt that the showrunners anticipated them having to sit out two sweeps periods and a few pregnancies before the show picks up again.

One last little dig by NBC?
Monday's "Tonight Show" rerun featured Conan dressed like an old man conducting focus groups of older viewers, to get their reaction of the guy who would be replacing Leno. Basically, the sketch was some over-45 folks looking really confused and disgusted at "Late Night" video clips of

On reviewing genre films
I mostly agreed with Tasha in this podcast. However, I don't think it should be as much looking at the glass half full, but in a genre of movies that has a lot of junk in it (like live-action children's films), you have to have some way of distinguishing between them. There are only so many

The end bit would have been great if Will Ferrell could sing. That was painful to listen to.

You all and your angry posturing over middle America and other stuff that doesn't deserve it.

"Balls deep in love" - soon to be the most requested prom theme this spring.

Dark clothes, dark backdrop
All i see in that photo is a floating head and hands. Doesn't the set designer know anything about TV?

@Tales

The format for this series?
I realize the format is open-ended, but the choice of subject matter so far is puzzling. Half of the shows so far appear to be love letters or tragedies by the directors to their local team or star player and an altering event. Either way, the stories don't appear to be on a scope where

Pre-lobotomy Walter, I'm with ya absolutely. That was bad-ass.
