First season for sure bad better characters IMO. The Gerhardts just never worked for me. Didn't understand why the show expected me to empathize with them. They were cartoonish, violent. Loved the other characters though.
Second season had better cinematography and more inventive storytelling.

He went out at the top of his game. Good for him. He was starting to show his age a bit in Spectre. One more and he'd be getting dangerously close to late Connery Bond where he was awkwardly old and not even trying. I think the hate for Spectre is hyperbolic. As a fan of the franchise as a whole (good and bad) I take

Ah man, I really was digging the idea of a season-long "Who Killed Lucille 2?" thing.

A lot of people avoided Minutemen (Cooke's prequel to Watchmen) on principle, but now is a perfect time to check it out. Truly beautiful art, composition and storytelling. Basically all the things Cooke excelled at.

There's a significant difference between me posting a comment on a message board and a professional writer for a big website submitting their review for posterity. I see your point, though! And it's a tough thing to make a universal rule on; Radiohead have long been considered a band for "serious listening" while many

Colin is so stinkin good on this album. He's been the MVP for two records straight now.

Wow, I'm…kinda stunned by that score. This is easily among the best work they've ever done. It's accessible but rewarding, personal yet political, beautiful and frightening. It feels like the perfect culmination of everything they've done. And it's been out for two days. Which makes me wonder: do critics really only

This is maybe the most beautiful record they've ever done

This song is a gut punch. Going through a breakup myself, and good lord…nobody captures what depression feels like like Thom Yorke. And yet it's so cathartic as well.

Who the fuck tries to stop a museum from being built on a parking lot? It's not like it's a creationist museum or something

It's glorious. Just…god. I love this band.

Holy shit. All the hints at Australia last season….this could be very interesting.

Loved these guys for years, glad they're getting more coverage. Highly recommend the Space Jam episode for newcomers. Can someone remind me in which episode they introduce the character Cloudy?
( I disagree with them about BvS and AotC. But those are my problems. )

That's so good to hear. The series has never been a critical favorite; it's always been very niche, which makes me hold out hope for it. Planning on downloading later today!

It's sad that people have sort of already dismissed this game that very few of us have actually played. Starfox has always been about the mechanics for me, and the idea of having your cockpit view on the gamepad and 3rd person view on the TV sounds like one of those genius Nintendo ideas only they'd come up with. I

I'm interested to play it because it's not often that games about cute animals flying spaceships are controversial…nor is it common that they exist in the first place, I suppose.

I've enjoyed every Starfox game, even though most of them are a bit of a mess. This sounds like every Starfox I've played in that sense, so I'm still looking forward to it.

Nope! I liked the movie. Had some problems, and believe me, I've read every "Everything wrong with BvS" article out there. I just don't agree. I liked it.

Is there any question that this is the best show on television at this point?

Yeah, fuck cinemasins. I'm sick of this internet trend of going into movies looking for flaws. That's not the way movies were meant to be watched, and it's lead to a very cynical generation of people who seemingly don't know how to enjoy shit. *My* generation. It bums me out.
