Definitely save it for last. I won't spoil why, but you get a certain…ability taken away from you after that mission, and it kind of sucks.

I absolutely fucking hated that mission. Any 3D action game that has enemies that can one-hit kill you…bullshit. I hate it. I'd get to the last tank every damn time and some missile would come out of nowhere and kill me instantly. I hate it when games wrap important, emotional story beats behind really frustrating

He clearly has a piss fetish, which creeps me out. Every single game features a lengthy shot of someone peeing their pants.
This one had the best, to be fair, but still. Gross.

Ah, gotcha. Yeah, as a fan of Sutherland I felt the same way. I wanted more. But he gets some emotional beats by the end of the game. Kojima was going for a more *ahem* quiet game, I think, so there's just a whole lot less talking. It was disarming at first, but I think it adds to the somewhat somber tone of the whole

The levels are designed in such a way that tagging everyone is very challenging (there's always some corner or interior that you forgot to check/can't see). In previous games you had a radar that showed you the enemies whereabouts, so in a way this is actually more challenging.

My favorite was 2, and 5 is my new favorite. If you liked the insane meta-narrative, 4th wall-breaking, violent insanity of 2 you're gonna love 5. And gameplay wise, it captured the same level of experimenting with minutiae that the Tanker mission did.

""Well in MGS4 he was voiced by a different actor", yeah but he was way fucking older and people's voices can change with age I mean just look at Pacino. Then again having Hayter voice Big Boss wasn't probably the best idea either. I mean Liquid was also a clone but he didn't have the same voice."
I think you just

I was a MGS outsider until 4 came out. I bought the game because of the hype and it made no damn sense to me. I couldn't enjoy it. I barely understood that it was a stealth game. But it made me curious enough to go back and play the other entries, and now it's one of my favorite series. But one's enjoyment of 4 almost

Yeah, it's not a great example, but the reaction to The Dark Knight Rises has always bugged me. "How did Bruce Wayne get back to Gotham?! It makes no sense! And why didn't Bane just kill Bruce when he had the chance? The blast radius of the bomb and the trajectory of Batman's flight wouldn't allow him to survive at

I completely disagree with this. Sutherland was pitch-perfect, I thought. It's hard to imagine Hayter's cartoonish voice in this game. Sutherland actually brought some pathos to the character. And had some solid one-liners.
"We gave her a light. She took the short way down."

Unfortunately you can only keep them at your animal conservatory. You can, however, train your badass and totally cute dog to stealthily stab people to death with a knife.

I beat the game, and am dying to discuss it with you smart Gamelogocial folks. So,

People get so defensive over the force, when all it really is is a cool excuse for characters to move shit with their minds and become really good pilots even though they've been a farmer their entire lives and have never flown a ship before.

I always assume all movies take place in real time.

I like how people will go to inordinate lengths to explain every minor inconsistency in the original trilogy, yet decry the prequels as full of plotholes and pick apart every single one of them. Look. You're allowed to love a movie that doesn't make any objective sense. They're dumb fantasies that take place in space.

On one hand, I'm excited to finally see Ben Schwartz in a major movie. On the other hand, JGL's ridiculously, in-your-face terrible French accent and almost certain unnecessary 9/11 references.

This whole thing (disconcertingly) reminds me of that horrible Cartoon Network Looney Tunes show they tried to do a few years back, where all the characters lived in a cul-de-sac together and the show was treated as a sitcom. Taking the Looney Tunes out of the short/sketch format completely ruined the point of the

I'm actually not sure if I've ever laughed so hard in my entire life.

Other than Mean Girls, I'm not sure I've seen her in anything that has lead me to believe she's a great actress. Every time I see her my reaction is, "Oh. Her."

This is actually an amazing premise.
