Wow, Three Stories beat out Walkabout? And Middle Ground?
That's a stacked roster.

I thought the agent-dude who was always suspicious of House's drug abuse and ended up arresting him eventually was Moriarty-y.
The show worked best when the mysteries were the focus, with character moments in the background, occasionally simmering to the surface. That's how the best Sherlock Holmes stories worked. The more the relationship stuff started to take the forefront, the less interested I got.
Wow. I quit before that scene, apparently. Now I feel the need to seek this out on Youtube.
House was one of the best shows on TV for awhile. I watched the show up until he started dating Cutti. I don't remember a lot of the show after that, I just remembered a slow decline in quality. I tuned in for the finale, which is one of the worst pieces of shit I've ever seen.
But honestly, as a Holmes fan, House is…
I was so excited for New Super Mario Bros. Super Mario World is my all-time favorite game, but NSMB was the first (*ahem*) NEW 2D Mario game released in my lifetime. I beat it in one sitting.
On one hand, I realized I was pretty good at Mario games.
On the other hand, I had waited years for this game and beat it in a…
A dead baby that you have to…kill? Yeah that game is messed up.
I got to world 6 in that game and realized I was having zero fun because that game was made by cruel animals.
I may give it another shot now that I can use restore points on Wii U.
Oh, I don't know. I somehow forced myself to try and watch Season 8, which had some of the worst episodes of anything I'd ever seen. It didn't feel like the Office. Or anything. It just felt like a bunch of leftover scraps from several much better shows. I remember one interesting episode where Jim was put in a…
I got sucked into the rumors that Waluigi was a hidden character in Mario 64 DS, and spent many hours jumping into some random wall in Peach's Castle trying to activate the secret.
We…didn't get great Internet in our house at the time.
I didn't play it until they released it on the 3DS Virtual Console. Man, those Super Mario Land games are weird as hell. I actually liked the first Land game a little bit better—it was so gloriously in-your-face weird. Like you said, everything is kind of a knock-off FOR NO REASON. It's made by Nintendo! Why not just…
Those levels were crafted by the biggest assholes in the world.
But beating them is *so* satisfying.
Yeah, I guess the next cultural touchtone for disappointment would be Batman and Robin? And then maybe Phantom Menace? But man, Phantom Menace looks like Apocalypse Now compared to the SMB movie.
Holy crap, I forgot about that game. Yes, you are correct, THAT is the most WTF Mario related thing ever.
I had heard about this for years, so I played the hell out of my Game Boy Advance copy of Super Mario World to unlock it. I beat all the Super Secret levels (Tubular, Radical, etc.) and no Pumpkin World! Evidently they removed this in the GBA version, but I didn't know this, so I was convinced everyone was just…
I don't think I've ever hated a movie so immediately and completely, which is especially shocking considering I was still relatively young when I saw it, and didn't exactly have "taste" in movies yet.
Captain Toad himself originated in Galaxy (well, Galaxy 2, I think) but yeah, the levels didn't come about until 3D World.
Oh yeah, totally. My first reaction to Mario Galaxy was, "Oh awesome! It's a whole game of the Secret levels in Sunshine!"
But also: nightmare realms.
NSMB2 is preposterously under-rated. I think the critical/fan reaction to it is more a reflection of Mario-fatigue rather than its actual quality. It's quite a bit more creative than the first New Super Mario Bros. game, and the image of a sea of fish jumping out of the water with an artful trail of coins behind them…
She says "Mama Peach?! I'm your mama?" which is even weirder.
