I honestly don't understand why it's such a bad twist. The idea of a religious cult that comes up with myths and scare-tactics to manipulate their children is pretty cool. By doing so they ended up creating a *real* monster out of a poor kid who just needed help.

The Last Airbender is indefensible, but you can't really blame him for After Earth. That movie was made by Will Smith, pointing his gun at Shyamalan's head and screaming "MAKE MY SON LOOK AWESOME!"
Which is impossible, because his son is terrible.

That is comforting. Bless you.

"You have to lift it up."
That's pretty awesome, considering what Desmond has to do when he gets to the cork in The Source: Lift it up.

Without question, Season 5 is my favorite. It has such a classic George Lucas, Star Wars/Indiana Jones vibe to it. I mentioned it before, but I was SO hopeful that the show would do a time travel story after Flashes Before Your Eyes, and the Orchid orientation video. And then we get this opening with Faraday in the

I actually like these kinds of supercuts that expose certain cliches in films/television. But then I get kind of sad because I realized somebody had to watch a lot of movies just for five seconds of material, and then spend hours capturing that footage and cutting it together.

But he did have to make certain…compromises…

I deserve that.

This sounds bad and not fun.

Krampus is too dumb a name to be scary. Also, I thought this was just a made up thing Dwight celebrated on the Office.

He wasn't a villain, though? He was just another obstacle to overcome in their adventure.

Your POST has a moronic ending!
The WHOLE POINT of his Batman movies, right there at the very beginning of Batman begins, is Bruce wants to create a symbol for Gotham. Something that can become "immortal, everlasting." Just rewatch the scene with him and Alfred on the plane in BB.

The Prestige is maybe my favorite Nolan movie, and one of my favorite movies of all time.

I can't wait for people to tell me why I shouldn't like his next movie as much as I will!

It is interesting to think about where 2D Mario can even go after Super Mario Maker. Some of the levels I've seen made in that game challenge the creativity of even the best Mario games. Nintendo will have to shake things up to keep NSMB relevant.

People keep talking about this "monologue" he did. I think that was purely an introduction to the series, and not a nightly thing. You don't think they're going to wait 10 minutes to do the theme song EVERY night, do you? He's said in interviews he wasn't going to do a monologue. And he was clearly setting up the fact

He should have interviewed Scott Aukerman, so he could have told him that he did pretty much the same bit when he started Comedy Bang Bang.

I did my whole senior project in high school on how the way English classes/Language Arts classes were taught was making kids lose their love for reading, or not allow them to cultivate that love in the first place.

" But learning how to solve that teaches you a lot of things: At a basic level, it teaches you how to think more abstractly: the concept of imagining "x" as a placeholder, and then substituting in numbers for it, is a very important concept outside of math. It teaches you how to think about deducing facts from things

It seems pretty insane to me that there's a group of people looking to the Jedi as a way of life, considering Episodes I-III basically paint the original Jedi order as a cult that was out of touch and unreasonable.
