I'm with ya, buddy. I grew up *loving* the Jurassic Park movies (for some reason I really loved 3 as a kid, probably because it was the only one I was able to see in the theaters when it opened). I'm hesitant about the tone of it, but you've encouraged me with this statement:
"There were lots of awesome deaths"
That's

"Seriously, do these people even know why audiences liked Jurassic Park?"
This is my whole hesitation with seeing this movie. It does not look like a Jurassic Park movie, which is full of dread, anxiety and tension. People liked it, and remember it, because it scared them. Made them jump in their seats. There's a

I've never seen Entourage. No matter what your prior experience with Jeremy Piven is, he is dog-shit terrible in that show.

Man, they really got lucky with the timing of him being on the TV show. It happened *right* before all the shit came out about him.
But if you haven't seen it…look it up. Daly walks out to the couch doing a *spot on* Cosby Show opening credits dance/face montage.

You gotta let me bang, bro!

You know who wanted to see it? Douchebags and their asshole friends. Those are the only people I know who like the show unironically.

Yoshi's Story is a bit more chilled out—no baby Mario, so you're basically just running around artistically interesting levels collecting stuff—so I find it a bit easier to get into. It's a good Kirby-like hangout game. Gets a lot of flack, but you can get it for $10 on the Wii Shop Channel, which is a fair price for

"Wait, so I'm the only person here who's NOT homeless?"
Man, that Rafflecast was a classic.

Like I said, I just suck at it.

I thought Epic Yarn was a masterpiece, so I'm pretty excited for Woolly World.
I dig the egg-throwing a lot, but I wish I was better at it. Come to think of it I may just not like the game because I suck at it.

You know, I'm a big Mario fan. The biggest. But for whatever reason I've always had a tough time getting into Yoshi's Island. I've never completed it; never come close, really. There's no reason why I shouldn't love it—the visuals, music, and level design are all brilliant. But something about the actual gameplay

Me and my cousin would sing "Son, son, son-of-a-gun" to the tune of Castle Town's theme in Ocarina of Time. I pretty much can't walk into Castle Town without smiling a little and singing it in my head (OK, and out loud sometimes).

Nah, I'm a pretty die-hard Bond fan. Casino Royale is a hard movie to hate, no matter how cynical you are.

I have the weirdest boner.

Who are they going to tell, their parents?

I think the last movie I saw that did that was Inception, with the spinning hallway fight. Still one of the coolest practical sets ever built.
But then there's also a lot of movies that I think *don't* have practical effects, and it turns out they totally do. Quantum of Solace's opening when Bond and Nameless Bad Guy

I saw it with friends when they did the theatrical re-release in 3D a couple years ago. That movie is more suspenseful and genuinely scary than any blockbuster released in the past 15 years. We were all on the edge of our seats, a couple of the girls screamed, and we had all seen it at some point in our lives.

I always wonder when commercials (almost always for bad movies) say things like, "America's #1 comedy!" or "The #1 family film in the world!"
How can you get away with saying that? What are they judging that on? Because they seem to do those kinds of trailers for flops all the time.

I just don't care the summer fare. The "popcorn films". I mean, sure, I like popcorn while I watch a film. And yes, I like action sequences with car chases and explosions. And would it kill you to put a dinosaur in there?

Yeah…I can't figure out why they didn't use practical effects (or more of them, anyway). More and more these types of movies are getting panned for using too much CGI, the re-release of Jurassic Park in 3D reminded everyone how amazing the effects still looked, and the level of excitement around the new Star Wars'
