You think Don't Think Twice is upbeat and peppy?
I kind of agree with this. It seems a little too coincidental that the bleeping fits so well, comedic-timing-wise.
Dude, YOU were the one demanding to know why liberals are so quick to point out Christian extremism every time radical Islamists blow something up. I'm giving you the answer.
It's a life of quiet dignity.
I'm not sure what you're arguing. I'm not saying that there shouldn't be ANY backlash against Islamic extremism, I'm just saying that the backlash poses more of a risk to free speech and civil rights than Islamic extremism itself. Those risks are exactly what you defined them as, legal discrimination, violence, etc.…
I don't think it's a false analogy. The point is that religiously-inspired violence is not unique to Islam. It's a point that needs to be repeated, especially when the terrorism is in the "name" of a minority religion, believed mostly by a minority ethnicity, that can quickly become the target of prejudice.
For crying out loud, King. Do you think some dipshits making online threats requires everyone else to re-assert their eternal support for free speech? We're not lining up to enlist because no one gives a shit what fringe religious nuts say, not because we're all cowed by the Muslim Threat.
Go nuclear on whose asses? The radical Muslim website operating out of New York?
I usually like the guys singing about weird things, just for the construction, but that ESPN Classic shit has to go.
Bobby Moynihan's WU
I really liked the second-hand reporter Moynihan played. "You hear about Stevens? They're gonna kill him!"
What a shpadoinkle day
This will definitely be worth checking out just for the music. Trey Parker knows how to write him a song.
For God's sake, what happened with SATFS getting tacos? Did he make it in time? I need closure!
Good Simpsons episode
Simpsons had a really good episode, I thought. I liked the fun they had with the Burns-narration framing.
Seriously, VanDerWerff, way to bring everyone down.
Yeah, seriously, how did it get to the point where the reviewer is reminding everyone that comedy is subjective?

By "money," I mean the commercial sponsorship of Starbucks.
Is this legal?
Just out of curiosity, doesn't this violate copyright laws? Since they're performing these songs for money? Did AVC get the licensing rights to these songs, or are you all just hoping nobody snitches?
@Dumbledore Calrissian: That's a story my studio can get behind! I'm proud to say that your life-story is GREENLIGHTED!
It's not just your ears. Gabriel's cover of Book of Love is awful.
