He's criminally underused. His "gas stipend" scene with Alec Baldwin is a high point of the show.

On your side, Nabin
I'm with you, Nabin. I was really disappointed with this episode and have been with the season in general. I don't want to be, I swear, but it's been nowhere near its peak.
I'll also add that "Hesitating Beauty" is a great, catchy song on that album.
Much love to Teddy-K laying down the tight beats in the 7-10am slot on WJAM for all those years. Word up, man, word up.
No, the guy who wrote The Game just received tutelage from the main guy on the Pickup Artist. The main thing you learn from reading The Game is that the Pickup Artist has gulf-deep psychological problems. (I know, not exactly a shocker.)
New York Times ads
Did anyone else feel like this movie has been advertised in a little box on the NY Times home page for like the past eight months? I started thinking that it wasn't movie but just De Niro taking out some ad space to calm people down.
Bill Murray.
I think it was "fuck your wife's face."
Family Circus gag
The Family Circus callback had me on the floor for a full minute.
Robin Williams is all like, "Hoo boy, what will these crazy characters teach me and my stuffy sense of business decorum?"
Every week, I offer to be the Simpsons' continuity consultant, but the writers just take the pizza and shut the door.
Psh
"Aaron's Oher looks lost on the field until she asks him to imagine the quarterback and running back as family members to protect from harm. As if anyone's that dim."
Too much to hope for
I guess it was too much to hope for that the trailers were wildly misleading and that the movie is a long film-study and lecture on the evolution of the O-line in response to defensive blitzing schemes.
Great show
This show has elevated the art of the sexual innuendo to unprecedented levels. Xavier barely says anything without it devolving into some gross jerking off euphemism.
Bitch Brian
Man, Bitch Brian really hit for me. His first line about needing to be helped going to the bathroom, "but I'm GOOD at other stuff!" had me on the floor.
Please, let's close the door on these disrespectful puns.
Seriously! We said New York, AV Club, not Brooklyn!
At the very least, Emperor Jim, can we agree that as a nation we are far behind where we should be in launching-people-into-the-sun technology?
My hatred for Beck, which is as white hot as the sun I wish he could be launched into, isn't dampened by the fact (and I agree that it is a fact) that he's just fulfilling a need that would exist without him, EJ. What he does — the psychotic conspiracy theories, the insulting style of interviewing, the brazen peddling…
With you on the hate, Sean
I personally felt that the episode kind of lagged in execution, especially toward the end with the Smurfs thing, but yeah, I'm willing to give a thumbs-up to anything that points out what a fat shrieking fuck that fat shrieking fuck is.
