My personal favorite is the episode of Community where everyone in the Study Group except Jeff seems enamored with The Bare Naked Ladies.

Heroes. Heroes. Heroes. Heroes. Heroes. Heroes. Heroes. Heroes. Heroes. Heroes.

Jimmy Kimmel got a real kick when this was nominated for an Emmy
Community barely nominated so… "You want me to watch the Emmys. I can't make my own Emmys. Why don't I just lay down and die?"

Great to see Moonrise Kingdom on here, although it wasn't entirely unexpected. On thing though… How was Magic Mike an unexpected success? We can't have relegated the female audience out of the picture that much, have we? I didn't see the movie, but its popularity doesn't shock me

Thanks for the update, but these character names mean nothing to me. I'm just going to wait for them to take their tops off.

@avclub-743f67238fc607d92e0397d5a4660cc2:disqus That sounds like a damn fine idea. I just finished by first screenplay today, actually. Now all I want to do is write more.

You're very right here. And it's sad that the show has stopped making an effort to do big, emotional episodes that aren't about whether or not Homer loves his family (Spoilers: Pretty much, he does, yeah).

It opened my eyes that there might be something more to all of this. I always felt kinda devalued by thinking that everything was just random, even as a kid. It opened my eyes to the idea that there existed other views in this world and of this world. It raised my curiosity, I suppose.

I loved this film so much. It really might end up on my Top 5 Favorites.

For me, it was watching The Simpsons in reruns as a kid. Growing up in a pretty secular household, I'd never been exposed to any sort of God before so when The Simpsons went to church or relived the tale of David and Goliath, it was my first exposure to Christianity, a faith I practice to this day. My dad, conversely,…
