Thanks!  I powered through the first episode and had no problems watching the second.  I think it was just Michael being so pathetic that really threw me off.  I probably won't care as much if the other characters behave like idiots / assholes (since that's the status quo).

oh that's great to hear!  Michael had gotten so delusional there I wasn't sure what the hell happened to my AD straight man (and I always liked that character but man.  Changing up his recipe really messes with the show's alchemy).

Question about AD: I made it half-way through the first episode but was having serious problems because of second-hand embarrassment issues.  I almost never had this problem with the first three seasons because we didn't spend that much time with one character (pacing!) and Michael was consistently around to make

It's weird that I missed a lot of episodes and yet I never feel like I missed anything.  So, like, I never even saw Dante be evil, I only saw some of the aftermath.  And then I missed last week and yet it was very easy to drop in on the finale and understand what was going on.

I'm in and out of the Mindy Project so I don't remember the early episodes that much but I honestly didn't think Anna Camp worked.  (I don't know who Amanda Setton is / was which just shows you how little I was paying attention).

James McAvoy just finished a run as MacBeth on stage…I kind of wished they just slapped that on a DVD and called it a day.

If he's rich then how come he had so many money problems leading up to his arrest, trial and conviction?  (basically they showed that Gerald Kostco (spelling?) paid for a diamond bracelet that Peter gave to Alicia circa season 1).

It was super mean.  that's what makes it so hilarious!

I feel like a bit of an idiot because I totally fell for the half-season long misdirect.  I couldn't understand why they resurrected Will and Alicia's dead relationship, when I should have realized that it was all in the service of getting Alicia to get *herself* out of L/G for good.

Yeah, I knew it couldn't be Will when she made the phone call.  Something just wasn't right (every time she's freaked out because of her intense sexual reaction to Will, they've played as a very bad thing for her…so when she thought she saw him at the party and her heart started to race…yeah.  She really didn't want

I wished they hadn't encouraged everyone to see this as the "end" of the triangle…it's clear they want that doorway open particularly if Will and Alicia are to face-off in court.  But, yeah, I'm happy with this episode and Alicia's decision to leave, but kind of exhausted by the triangle.

I wondered if that large payoff to Jackie's caregiver would be more of a problem to his governorship (wouldn't this raise some serious flags?  Where the hell did they get $25,000?  Campaign funds?)

Yeah, I feel bad for Will because he's losing Alicia and probably Diane down the line.  He's going to feel like he's in a sinking boat next season, which means he could get really nasty in court in order to protect himself (note: unlike others here, Will being morally compromised doesn't really bother me — I still

I do think that Will actually loves Alicia and would commit to her.  She just doesn't want him to — I'm not sure how she really feels about Peter in this moment, but as I read someone comment, her choice in this episode is to give herself choice, rather than be tied down to anyone else / anything else.  (The exception

re: Tonight's The Good Wife finale!  wish this had been the top pick.

I was just going to say that it seemed important Zach was turning 18 in this episode.  Alicia's kids are almost grown and it doesn't seem to matter what kind of father figure Will could potentially be at this point.

Yup, there you go.  That's what I want — not only because I'd enjoy seeing those new character dynamics, but because there are so many new stories to tell if that's the way they go.

I'm totally in the bag for Will, but I'll grant that as a businessman he's extremely opportunistic.

Alicia seems to be able to draw a line between what Will does professionally and what Will does personally.  The one time she (and he) couldn't make tht distinction, they ended up in that weird shouting match (because when have they ever actually argued that way before?) and impromptu making out.
