I'll direct you to my Kickstarter page to help fund one. It's diamond-plated or nothing for this guy!

I know it's fashionable to go out of your way to find the most poorly-worded / "these bands have clearly no idea about their actual fanbase in regards to their Kickstarter  fuding ambitions" crowdsourcing campaigns, and use them as an example of the absurdity / evils of this practice; but I have yet to hear a

Agree 100 percent about The Anniversary. Your Majesty still sounds uninspired and boring all these years later. Even after I got big into Neil Young, Gram Parsons, weed, etc. Whereas I could only listen to the song "All Things Ordinary" for the rest of my life and be perfectly happy.

Are these band press releases disguised as news items bugging anyone else? I love my homies in Off With Their Heads but that video announcement, as with this one, seem strangely out of place. I'm going to have to investigate the author of both, EpitaphRecords M. RealHuman, some more.

She was also partly responsible for getting those motherfucking snakes off of that motherfucking plane.

Heart's "All I Want to Do is Make Love to You" video was pretty crazy to a pre-pubescent me mainly because, Top Gun-esque back lit sex scene aside, it told me that sex was when a woman picks up a hitchiker, bangs him in a motel room, writes him a long, metaphor-laden letter the next morning, carries his child to term,

The DVD is worth seeking out purely for the bonus footage of Metallica and Ja Rule working together to create the worst song in the history of anything ever.

Though I like only a handful of Jawbreaker songs (Dear You is their best album and I never, ever, ever, ever liked anything JTB did), Leatherface is probably my favorite band of all time. Glad to see them getting a mention.

I can't remember who put them out but the 4 Powerpearls compilations are pretty great for rare European (along with early stuff by some well-known US acts like the Fastbacks) power pop.

I always thought Second Nature was the more successful Hydra Head. Did those two companies ever have a relationship? For every Coalesce or Krakatoa album there was a Grade or Reggie and the Full Effect release to, you know, make money.

I thought they stopped making comps? Lord knows they made up 50% of my cd collection at one point. The last great comp I got was called Auto Glamour Sounds that collected a bunch of Cincinnati based post-punk bands from the early 80's. It was worth the cost to discover the band 'By Products of America' alone. I never

Agreed. I was born in NYC and have lived here most of my life. I can't imagine longing for a full-return to the old days when most of my childhood memories are of walking around dead homeless, sudden apartment fires, and the random brick being thrown through our window (and my family lived in the East 20's!)
