@avclub-ca4fc44a59d0201cc7d4f760153cb00c:disqus I liked it too.  The Pitchfork reviewer's butthurt at Kim Deal leaving and/or them not sounding like the soundtrack to his summer at age 12 anymore.

"Too Close", by NEXT.

Their spawn will critique the world!

Here's your Neko Case review, hope you enjoy the big fat C.

eh.  Nextwave was alright.  A bit too cute and in love with itself, but that's Ellis.  Sometimes it works, sometimes i'm not in the mood (most of the time).  Doktor Sleepless could have been good, if he was bothered to go somewhere with it. FreakAngels was ok.

DAMN YOU, FANNIE MAE!

9 pm bedtime for the lieutenant!

Wasn't Jimmy Fallon the big winner in all that kerfluffle?

Can't.  Someone's playing Next's "Too Close",

So did Bill Simmons.  So there's that.

SCATHING!

That's a true talent, sir.

lol, look at that ridiculous cover.  Esquire turned into Maxim.  There will be no mention of gingham unless it's on a bikini photoshoot.

I'll give you access to my private stash.

Southside Rotherham, mind you.

No, this is the Jonathan Lethem novel that really nails the multicharacter tableau.

@avclub-73e82af5cbfcdb87fbe3056e2995b959:disqus I don't think they'll ever do another song as good as "Fluorescent Adolescent".  But "Cornerstone" came close.

No!  Not his commodious commode!

WRECX are no longer in effect, sadly.  He got sand in his saxophone.

Did I just sit on a Settlers of Catan box or is someone happy to see me?
