When can you start filming? ***Dollar Sign Eyes***

You know, it's really disconcerting to see a show that I find utterly ridiculous getting Bs and Cs from week to week. Let's chalk this up to the shortcomings of episodic reviews, shall we?

Hahahaha! 'Demonlover'! Phew, you just made my day. Totally forgot that film. She's in a porn dungeon at the end, right?

Well, I thought Malcolmson had a run-down quality to her appearance that was quite à-propos for her role. As for Claudia Cardinale, point taken, but surely you can expect a spaghetti western, in its camp, over-the-topness, to cast one of the beautifulest  women of the time in the role of the go-to prostitute.

I think things went awry for the show when that 'Lenore' character showed up. Wasn't this show set in Detroit? Wasn't it about a teacher having to get another job to survive, as the school was laying people off and rehiring them cut price? Where the heck did all the socio-economic stuff go? Now we're stuck with pimp…

Then again, with Anson Mount in the main role, the cheesiness of the 'Swede' and the scenery-chewing of Colm Meaney, I guess they are aiming for camp fun (maybe in order to survive the 'Deadwood' comparisons), and nothing else.

Dominique McElligott is just too pretty for her part, to the point where it hinders the believability of the whole series. I don't know what's the problem with the casting agents recently, but add her name to Hannah Ware in 'Boss' for actresses too good-looking for their roles.

You should bail now if you feel that way. There might still be some kind of twist or a couple of interesting moments left in this season, and then you'll be forced to come back for the 7th season. I've been trapped that way since the 3rd season.

Well, at least it's better than 'Covert Affairs'.

Yeah, i'll admit to finding this show equally interesting and unbearable, and I really wanted to call it quits after last episode. Haven't seen this one yet ; I'll give it a go because of this review (thanks Erik Adams).

By the way, @ToddVanDerWerff:twitter , regarding '2 Broke Girls', you're INSANE. (Sorry for the delay, I just got to watch the last episode)

Considering those class-A nudity scenes would probably feature either Connie Nielsen, Kathleen Robertson or Hannah Ware, no one can fault you.

Hey, Die Hard 2, Cliffhanger and Mindhunters were 'good' fun also!

Thank god she has the hair to differenciate her, because until tonight I thought I was watching Jennifer Morrison in a tour-de-force performance in two roles.

Right. The problem is that people think it used to be a good show at some point. I'm not sure it ever was the case, anymore.
