Clothes thread!
Having my Jameson's and Diet Coke again. Perfectly muddy.
They dissolved to the same shot!
Absolutely goddamn right.
Agreed, @avclub-cfe912f5cb3aa572bd1c9ae2a9b82207:disqus . It will also be nice to be on a site that isn't so presentist. I don't think that's the intention, but things are getting more and more oriented on this site to the last ten years, if not the last week.
Pretty much where my mind went to first as well.
Well that's awesome. Listen to happy music, eat chocolate, keep that buzz going.
I really think Shield box sets, especially season 7, should come with warning stickers: LEVELS OF OWNAGE EXCEED THOSE TOLERATED BY LAW. DO NOT TAKE IF YOU SUFFER FROM FEELINGS OF DESPAIR OR ARE A LITTLE BITCH. DO NOT EXCEED MORE THAN 20 EPISODES IN A 24-HOUR PERIOD.
One of the things that made the pacing so good was that there was a great sense of what stories were for one episode, what stories could go for several episodes, and what stories needed a whole season or series to tell. Nothing ever felt padded or dragged out on The Shield.

Best song of the 80s might be "Driver 8" by R.E.M., or maybe "Straight to Hell" by the Clash, but those are great songs that happened to occur between 1980 and 1989. The greatest 80s song (i.e., a song in the specific style of the 80s), would be "Stand Back" by Stevie Nicks.
That first paragraph made me think this was a Futurama episode. What can I tell you, I'm. . .impulsive.
Goddammit, that would have been a great choice too. . .
