Glacier National Park. You can go camping, camping hardcore (no services), or stay at an amazing hotel. It's insanely beautiful, you can visit the triple Continental Divide Parking Lot, and those glaciers are NOT gonna be there forever, or even another ten years.

Booze thread!

You, sir, are a mouthful!

Dammit. My bad.

Perhaps Wiig will go…downtown.

Reference acknowledgement. Imminent arrival of Narrator.

Hardy would actually make a fantastic Scott Fischer—he can be as intense as Bale but there's a more fun aspect to him.  Joseph Gordon-Levitt for Krakauer or Rob Hall, and Gwyneth Paltrow as Sandy Pittman.  (That last one is too easy.)

This may well turn out to be the most popular comment you ever make.

Hm.  Actually Bale is more suited for Anatoly Bourkeev.

Your screenplay for The Prestige must have been quite something.  I'm guessing a little different than the one that was used.

That was part of the beautiful mess—even if he was a native speaker, the dialogue in Runaway Train isn't in the same time zone as "naturalistic." It was theatrical and philosophical, kind of Eugene O'Neill or gutter Tom Stoppard stuff. So the blown rhythms of the language was just one more weird and alien element

Careful. Her dad has guns and intends to protect his daughters.

Runaway Train is the kind of beautiful mess that you wouldn't want to be any different. That movie felt cold and dirty, and Jon Voight and John P. Ryan were both primal and great. It felt like a Sam Fuller movie. (And it introduced the young me to my favorite line in all Shakespeare.)

If Jack does not say "Eric Roberts says I have the balls of a dinosaur" then that last season is a disappointment.

Again, I don't like the term "minimalism" at all.  Adams likes the use of a pulse, but he does very different things over it than Reich or Riley.  "Short Ride in a Fast Machine" is fun, but he needs a larger time scale to do his thing.

Oh, you know, just me and your—-wait, we did this already.  Let's just wear some tuxedos and toss around a football for a while.

Oh hai @avclub-f8f8c273f326be25421cc62737d24a9e:disqus !  It seems like you are expert!

@Scrawler2:disqus definitely gave him what-for, though.  The lady can take care of herself.

Hi everyone!

I'm so sorry.  Prayers to you and your family.
